The shop, on Rua de Olivenca 9007 (near Intermarche) will be open Mondays to Thursdays 10:00 to 16:00.

The shop has over 120 sq metres of space, with over 50 different frozen lines, a range of fresh cheddar cheeses and a huge selection of tinned and packet goods. O Caminho Natural products will also be available in the new shop.

As well as cash and cheques, Food4Brits also accept most major debit and credit cards.

Fishing

There’s lots of good sea and river fishing available in the area.  River fishing licences cost approx. 6€ per year for a regional licence and approx. 9€ a year for a national licence. You can get a license from any multibanco (cashpoint) – you will need to enter your ID number (passport or ID card) and fiscal number. Children under 14 don’t need a licence if accompanied by their parents.

Sea fishing licences can also be paid for at multibanco machines and the ticket kept for the licence period.  Prices are quite complicated (correct in May 2007)-
